Happy Campers, Happy Stampers Projects
We made three projects--a Chocolate+Mocha Kit Kat Belly Band and two cards!
These are the projects and the details:
You Brighten My Path Card
Card Base: Night of Navy, 11" x4.25", scored on the short side at 5.5"
Inside Basic White: 5"x4"
Stamp sets: Campology, Circle Celebrations
Dies: Mountain Air, Layering Circles (not required!), Rectangular Stitched Circles (largest rectangle)
Tools: Water painters, Heat Tool, White Embossing Powder, Blender Brushes Wink of Stella
Ink: Memento, Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Night of Navy, Blackberry Bliss, Misty Moonlight
Blends: Crumb Cake, Dark Mango Melody
To make the 'Milky Way': once you have used your blending brushes to create the sky background and used your water painters to splash white craft ink on your project, use wink of stella in a sweeping motion (backwards 's' shape) and let dry. The more wink of stella you use, the 'cloudier' the galaxy will be!
Let the Adventure Begin Card

Coffee King Size Kit Kat Belly Band

Tools:Linen Thread
Ink: Early Espresso, Smoky Slate
Blends: Dark Gray Granite or Dark Crumb Cake+Color Lifter, Soft Suede
White Sentiment Piece: 3.5" x 1"
DSP Layer 1:4 3/8" x 1.5" Soft Suede DSP
DSP Layer 2: 4"x 1.75" Soft Suede DSP (reverse side to layer 1 in the picture)
*I actually just used scraps for DSP Layer 1 and DSP Layer 2. Use the above measurements to get it close to mine, but know that anything could potentially work! :)
Belly Band:
x2 strips of 6"x2" DSP--I attached with the a 1" overlap and scored at 3.5", 3.75", 7.5", and 7.75" for a king size kit kat bar. Scoring makes it easier to slide the kit kat in and out of the band, but is not really required. You could definiutely just wrap around and SEAL it shut to the size of your kit kat!
Note: Adjust the belly band size in order to fit a 'standard' size kit kat!
