Birthday Cake Thank You Sleeves

Image
Few things are as iconic as birthday cake and ice cream! I kept that in mind when I was designing these cute little birthday thank you sleeves. I purchased the Birthday Cake Little Debbie snack cakes from Walmart (8 cakes for ~$2.00) and decided to fancy them up with some cute stamped and paper outfits! I made these as thank you gifts for my in-laws  for hosting a surprise birthday party for me--so sweet! See the measurements, hints, and video to make these on your own! Supplies Needed Sweet Ice Cream Bundle (Punch, DSP, and stamp set) Blending Brush (to brush pool party ink in an arch around the top of the Basic White Stampin' Pad Ink Colors: Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Pool Party  Basic White Cardstock: 1.25" x 4.75" Pool Party Cardstock: 5" x 5.25" scored at 0.75", 2.25", 3", and 4.5"  Cut the last scored section in half to make the final scored section 3/8" wide I made my boxes a bit 'tighter' so that the cakes wouldn't

Diversity Day CASE from Stampin' Up! Digital Stamps

When I saw this card, I knew I had to CASE it! I am a Canadian by proxy (my husband is Canadian!) and we still have tons of family there that could use a sweet thinking of you card like this!  This card features the FREE download digital stamps from Stampin' Up! This pdf was released in honor of Diversity day. I show you how to access the free download and get your copy in the video below!  Digital stamps can be printed using a regular printer on regular paper (but preferrably cardstock for good quality images and coloring!), then fussy cut and then can be attached to cards! The initial page of the download also has some helpful instructions! Have you used digital stamps before? Are you inspired to give it a try?  Let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or digital stamps!

It is so cute and I cannot wait to get my hands into the crafty supplies and build some beautiful cards (as supplied and some alternates too per my usual!).  Here is the unboxing video for this box: Pardon the end! As soon as I got home, I ran upstairs to make the video and didn't realize how low my phone battery was and it died right as I was finishing up! It's also the wrong orientation. I suppose that I hadn't actually returned from vacation just yet... 😆  Next month's kit is Expressions In Color and is 'In color' themed (i.e., features Stampin' Up!'s 5 new colors that were released with the new annual catalog) and is inspired by alcohol ink watercolo
